Let's hope so..There are quite a number of complicated things in life, and I seem to have a few of them to figure out..... |
Hospital appointments, you don't know what for, just 4 days before you're trying to fly off to the USA, trying to get your medicaments for the period of absence (2 months) all at the same time, and hoping the Customs people don't have anything against that - finding out just what you have to take with you when, like me, you have an implanted defibrilator that basically keeps you alive, figuring out the flights, the finances, what to do with the car - 2 months in the public streets doesn't go, and 2 months in the Airport parking costs around 140euros - even just the dates you plan to go being unknown, complicates things, Health Insurance for the USA, a necessity for at least myself, the flights themselves - an airplane with at least 2 wings, and if they offer me a parachute - I'm getting off!

One thing seems to be figured roughly - the car and the taxi - go to the airport in the car and save around 200euros return trip for the taxi but pay the roughly 140euros parking fee, and hope you've still got a car in the parking when you get back!
The defibrilator says I can use it almost all over the world, but doesn't tell me if I have to take the whole kaboodle with me (it's like an old fashioned cell phone with its charger, and works on the GSM cell phone system) - of course I must declare possession of the thing at the check-in or an alarm goes off!
Does the insurance I've found cover "pre-existing" conditions? If not, it's not worth buying!
Basically I'm getting to the point where
