Well - I'm going to tell you a couple of stories.........some of you already know the stories, but some don't.
Before I start, let me give you an interesting detail which emerged the other day. Whilst some people are still using the ancient telephone, the modern Internet, particularly the e-mail, is going the same way! Apart from businesses (who mainly send spam, spam and even more spam, more and more people are abandoning the e-mail in favour of so called Personal Messages on sites like Facebook (FB) etc....

Of course, the person you need/want to contact has to be a member of FB and there are a few other limitations, but for simple, quick messages like "you comin' for a milkshake...?" it's fine! http://support.gfi.com/manuals/en/me12/me12manual.1.64.html
Statistics show that e-mails sent/received by the up to 24 year old's have dropped by 34%, but SMS and msms (photos) have increased in the same manner for the same group, but by i-phone and via other devices capable of going on FB, then the per centage is high.
Of course it is - mini things, chargeable in the car, usable via wifi everywhere, has a camera, games, a multitude of "apps" - for me the only problem is using the thing......I have "thick fingers" so.......

Anyway - it's not too important - Now I can use US, EN and FR keyboards, but it's a bore!
I don't play games - they are to small to see, but I can and do watch TV - on line! Shame is that my hospitals do not have any (payable or wifi) access to the web!
Right now, I'm in the USA but still with the same obligations.........take medicaments, have one monthly blood test - stop certain medicaments depending on the results, and I have a GREAT Doctor in France!
Not for the first time did he accept to use these modern day things, I sent my bood test result to himon Thursday as a "pdf" file, and on Friday he replied saying my tests were fine!
It is unusual to find a Doctor prepared to do such things, as well as many other things outside of the routine - on top of which, he replied in English, not necessary,
since I speak French, but a personal touch much appreciated. Thank you!
